the north and south Navy Pier Beer Gardens

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Lobster Fest is located at the Navy Pier Beer Gardens, at 700 E Grand Avenue, Chicago IL.

The Navy Pier East and West Parking Garages are easily accessible from Illinois Street and Lakeshore Drive.

Parking at Navy Pier

Navy Pier offers two on-site parking garages, the East Garage and the West Garage. The East Garage is the closest parking location to Lobster Fest.

Rideshare & Taxi

Rideshare drop-off for Lobster Fest is suggested for Entrance 2 of Navy Pier, at 900 E Grand Avenue, Chicago IL. It is NOT suggested to be dropped at the front of Navy Pier unless you like long walks. Entrance 2 or “The Sable Hotel” as your drop-off location is strongly suggested.

Public Transportation

The CTA provides five bus lines serving Navy Pier daily. These are #29 State, #65 Grand, #66 Chicago, #124 Navy Pier (serving Metra lines from Millennium Station, Ogilvie and Union Stations) and #2 Hyde Park Express (during weekday morning and evening rush hours only). The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) serves the Chicagoland region and provides a variety of different routes directly to Navy Pier. The RTA trip planner makes it easy to use CTA, Metra and Pace buses and trains with real-time next bus and next train travel information. WATER TAXI

Shoreline Water Taxis offer a scenic, fast and fun way to get to your destination. 

Shoreline Water Taxi service begins in May and runs through September with additional service throughout the fall and for special events. All taxi service is weather dependent. There are two water taxi routes: Lake and River. The Lake Route connects Navy Pier with the Museum Campus and is within walking distance of Soldier Field and Northerly Island. Shoreline Sightseeing offers two water taxi routes, and if you’re looking to make the trip between Navy Pier and Union Station, you’ll want the River Route, with both a direct route to our Navy Pier Polk Bros Park dock as well as one that stops at Michigan Avenue so you can take care of any shopping first.

BIKE SHARE

Experience Chicago in a whole new way with Divvy, Chicago’s bike share system. With 580 stations and 5,800 bikes across Chicagoland, Divvy is a fun, affordable and convenient way to get around.  

Become an Annual Member or buy a 24-Hour Pass from a Divvy station kiosk or Transit App to get started. Then, find an available bike nearby, and get a ride code or use or member key to unlock it. Take as many short rides as you want while your pass or membership is active. When you’re finished, return your bike to any station, and wait for the green light on the dock to make sure it’s locked.  

Navy Pier’s Divvy station and kiosk is located in Polk Bros Park, on the northwest corner of Streeter and Grand. 24-Hour passes can be purchased here or at any Divvy kiosk.
